The Creator
In 1986 Tony Washington the company's founder and CEO started Bonita Entertainment while living in San Diego, CA. Bonita Entertainment was then a record and promotion company, recording artist and promoting special events. R&B recording artist Barrington Henderson was the first recording artist Bonita Entertainment signed and recorded a single written by Tony's partner and uncle Charles Washington, the song was entitled "Love Slip Away." Barrington went on to join the group Lakeside who were signed to Solar Records, later Barrington joined the Legendary Temptations, meanwhile Bonita Entertainment went on to worked with the following Rap Artist, In 1987 Chronical Breakthrough, released the single "Pretty Black Girl". In 1989 Jay Dee Love from J.D & 2 Swyft released the single "Sounds So Smoove" also promoted comedy shows, concerts and special events with Craig D. Frazier Management.
