Bugman takes you on a journey through the streets of southeast San Diego, California, through the soul of an ex-gang bangin' drug dealer, who was caught up with the rules of put in work and rep your hood. Following those rules, living in the fast lane, Bugman ended up crashing into the Feds, which later bought this street solider to a dilemma (to snitch or not snitch (snitch and redeem himself, by helping take himself and other dealers off the street), or not snitch, protect his homies and continue to be a part of the drug problem that effects families and entire communities, even his own.
Do you ever wonder how kids are taught by their parents to be good citizens, good decent human beings, but somehow their environment teaches them a totally different way? Well, that is what I experienced. I was raised in a church family, and learned the Christian way to live, but growing up in the hood of southeast San Diego, my family changed from those in the church to those on the street. As I began to replace the church with the streets, I lost my soul, and began smoking weed at the age of fifteen. At sixteen, I started gang banging, repping my hood with my blood homie, and selling drugs; this to me was like serving my country. I dropped out of school, and began learning the lessons and rules of the street like a real street solider.
